TL:DR Use ExpressVPN. 30 days free (money back guarantee) by signing up here.

I can't even imagine the pain that my friends out of Japan feel when they have to wait extra weeks for the latest episodes of Terrace House. I feel bad for them whenever I talk about the latest happenings and they said it was not out yet where they were.

I don't think anyone would say no to a way that they can make full use of their Netflix subscription. VPNs and proxies are obvious answers to this for the tech-savvy lot, but in the past few years, Netflix began aggressively cracking down on its users from bypassing geo-blockades with VPN services. So, today I will share with you a trialed and proven method of bypassing Netflix restrictions.

Step 1: Download ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN is a paid, but very premium and top-of-the-line VPN service. I have a subscription to them myself that I use for purchasing Supreme.

Not sure about forking up money when all other VPNs failed you? Worry not, I got your back. Sign up with this link to try the method for your next cop and you get to choose to opt-out after 30 days and get your money back.

Step 2: Set your location to the right server

With the aggressive Netflix campaign still raging on, only certain ExpressVPN servers are configured to unblock Netflix. In my case, I wanted access to US content, so the US Los Angelas Server 3 was the one that worked. The reason that ExpressVPN does not post the “right servers” anywhere online or on social media is to prevent Netflix from blocking those servers. So, the official advice is to try a few servers for the country you want to unblock, and if it doesn't work, either email them at support@expressvpn.zendesk.com or use the live chat on their home page. In my experience, their support is exceptionally professional and extremely responsive with responses within the minute.

Still not working?

Try setting your protocol settings to TCP under Preferences of your ExpressVPN app. (This setting is not available in the Chrome extension.) It says it might be slower, but I've experienced no latency on my streaming at all.
